Carriageway Resurfacing – Malden Road A2043 Blakes Lane to Idmiston Road
New Malden
I am writing to inform you that the council will be commencing works in Malden Road on the 10th June 2013.The works will be carried out in two stages, the first stage will be to excavate at a number of locations on the Malden Road identified as problematic. These works will be between 9:00 and 17:00hrs with traffic lights in operation, and are planned to be completed within one month.
The second stage will be to resurface Malden Road using “Superlex” a product used in a number of areas within the Borough with positive feedback from residents in relation to noise reduction.
The resurfacing works are planned to commence on the 10th July 2013 and should be complete by 23rd July 2013.The work will be carried out at night between 20:00 and 05:00hrs. In order to keep noise to a minimum, no breaking out operation will be carried out after 23:30hrs.
If these dates change the Supplier, EM (Enterprisemouchel), will amend the variable message system and the advanced warning boards on site.
