BURGLARIES WARNING

BURGLARY

Increase in burglaries on Kingston borough

There has been a rise in the number of burglaries on the borough.
We have increased the number of uniform and plain clothes patrols.

WE NEEDYOUR HELP!
You can reduce the number of burglaries by ensuring your house is secure and reporting anything you feel is suspicious no matter how small to police on 999.

The burglaries are occurring during the day and evening, the most common means of entry is by forcing open back doors & windows and unlocked back doors. Properties with alleyways or with easy access to gardens are most vulnerable so please lock up and be vigilant.

·        LOCK YOUR UPVC DOORS & WINDOWS WITH THE KEY
·        KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR YOUR NEIGHBOURS
·        DO NOT LEAVE KEYS IN LOCKS

Police are able to give a FREE crime prevention survey on your home. To take us up on this offer contact your Safer Neighbourhood Team via email or telephone.

SNT Meeting

Last night I attended the SNT meeting at Coombe Boys School, it was a very well attended meeting and priority s were set by members for the SNT to follow over the next two months.
It was nice to see so many members helping to make our Ward a safer place to live.
